LOUGHBOROUGH College’s Nicola White has moved a step nearer to London 2012 by being selected as part of  the Great Britain women’s hockey squad for the Olympic test event at Olympic Park starting tomorrow.

The 24-year-old Slough player, who performed a key role in Great Britain reaching the final of the Champions Trophy earlier this year, is part of an 18-strong line up due to kick off against Korea at 1.15pm.

The tournament runs until Sunday and you can see Nicola and both the Great Britain women’s and men’s teams in all-important pre-Olympic action on the Red Button and the BBC Sport website.
